LED-Direct is owned by Live and Work Limited with a number of business interests primarily in the Isle of Man.
For six months of 2010 we researched how to convert our hotels and the Director's home to LED bulbs as a consultant had shown us that the savings were incredible.
Everywhere we looked all we could find were spotlights and very low wattage candle bulbs. At the end of 2010 we were so frustrated we researched and found a Chinese manufacturer of quality bulbs who would provide us with straight replacements for our UK bayonet (BC and SBC) connections and the more widely available screw fittings (ES and SES). We refined their product to meet our requirements and then we imported 500 bulbs just for our use. The results are fantastic.
So many people have asked us to get them some we created LED-Direct and we now import thousands.
